Camaro/Firebird DRL Module color codes
This is just a quick note for myself others might find useful, since I didn't have much luck searching for it in google. The wiring schematic is in the HELM Factory Service Manual (part# GMP00F - $135) but the pinout is just as useful:
4,561,920 Pixels in a Mile
I finished a new song. A song of the sleep, wherein I melodically complain about not being able to sleep... a battle against insomnia though being tired. It's actually the first new song I've completed and recorded in a little over a year.
I guess I should assemble a website for my music, considering that I have about 45 tracks recorded to go on albums dating back to 1998... but eh I dunno... it's more of a private hobby.. sort of a musical journal spanning time and emotions.
I'm getting new anti-sway bars for Otto on monday, that should be fun... Supposedly it makes alot of difference in the handling and cornering of the 240. We shall see. At the same time I will replace the left lower control arm, which is screwed up and the bushing had to be welded on rather than seated when I was having my struts changed in the front, also to be changed is the inner tie rods .. all of this at once since it involves the same parts to be removed.
that's about it for now. Work's alright... once again, the driving around town every day is killer.
Engine Water Torture w SeaFoam
The engine cleaning treatment I performed is outlined below, this can be done to any fuel injected car when performed correctly so don't be TERRIFIED when someone says "OH NO, water in your cylinders," as long as you can either start the car or suck some of the water out (siphon from spark plug port) if it won't start or you lose your nerve, it's quite alright -- I've driven my former Camaro in 3.5 feet of flood water and kept it running by punching the gas pedal when others (big trucks even) were turning around - hey, I had to get home.
